Water Resources East - Strategic Advisory Board
Description
Water Resources East is an innovative partnership in the East of England to safeguard a sustainable supply of water for all water users. This is with the mission that water resources are resilient to future challenges and enabling the area’s communities, environment and economy to reach their full potential.
WRE is one of five regional groups in England formed through the Environment Agency and Defra to create a National Framework for water resource management.
Breckland Council are actively contributing to WRE’s as members of their Strategic Advisory Group and, with its members, WRE will co-create a regional plan for water resources management. In order to make sure the plan delivers for all water users in the East of England, Breckland Council will be integral in adding regional expertise and knowledge.
